Great video! I have a couple of amp pedals with the voice knob. Blackstar is big into this. They call it a ISF switch. All the way left is typically more of a blackface fender-ish sound, whereas, all the way right is more plexi. You can dial in anything in between with the voice knob. Typically yes you get a little more umph and dirt the more plexi voiced.

Am I right in thinking that the tutorials would be in the original key, but you can listen to the song in any key?

So doesn’t look like opinions differ much from any other opinions out there. However I’ve played different basses in worship and ‘in the mix’ you can get what sound you like especially with a EQ pedal ( much like guitars too ). Most people listening don’t care anyway, and in the worship context the focus should be on worshipping, and that’s not worshipping the musicians..

What about churches that's preach "tithing" and quote Malachi? Temple musicians were also paid. Everyone in the temple was paid. So you quote Malachi and preach tithing but don't follow the scriptures, only compensating the pastors. How can you cherry pick one small portion of old covenant tithing and ignore everything else? In my opinion if you preach tithing, you should be paying the musicians.
